MYTHE BUSTING TIME!
So recently on Pinterest I have been seeing a lot of people pinning workouts like "best ab workout to banish lower body fat" or "5 workouts to get a thigh gap."
Those maybe great workouts & great moves but here is the things YOU CANNOT SPOT REDUCE FAT! It sucks but it isn't possible. We lose fat all over when we workout not just from the place we work! TRUST me I WISH it was that easy!
Often those places we want to "spot reduce" are the places that are the last to go when losing weight! The best way to reduce the fat of those problem areas is DIET! Yes exercise will help but you cannot out exercise a bad diet!
So why it is to hard to eat clean? Because we mindlessly eat! What I mean by that is we rarely eat in a quiet room.. When we eat we have the tv on, or we are on the phone, or have company so we don't pay attention to how much we consume. So what I am saying is we don't know our portion sizes & so we over eat!
So what are the right portions? There is this new program coming out called the 21 Day Fix! It not only comes with workout DVD (which we all know I am a fan of) but these cool colored containers! Basically each color represents something like fruit, oil, protein, etc & as long as it fits you can eat it!
It is so simple I cannot wait to try it! I am ordering it ASAP! Although I just started Block 2 of P90x3 I am going to follow the meal plan! So have any questions? Email me at RoseyBeran@aol.com for details!
