This program is good because you are not supposed to work the same parts of your body on back to back days. I also find it effective if you are more advanced to combine both of the front side works on the same day and both of the back side workouts on the same day.

This workout is perfect for anyone at any level. It includes a beginner modification. The workout consists of mostly strength and includes some cardio. It targets: Abs, Thighs, Shoulders, Triceps, Chest, & Hips. The Dvd has a warm up, two circuits that you go through twice and a cool down. I found this workout challenging especially when upping the weight. The cardio intervals with strengths moves at the same time were amazing!

This workout is the second front of the body workout in the program. To me it is harder then Shape-Up Front because there is more cardio. This workout targets: Abs, Thighs, Shoulders, Triceps, Chest, & Hips. I don't have a step up bench so I had to modify a lot of this workout so I highly recommend one or something you can use that is like one. The workout consists of a warm up, two circuits that you go through twice, & a cool down. It is fast moving and effective. It is short so great for beginners. Or if you are looking for more of a challenge you can combine it with Shape-Up Front like I do.

This workout is a short cardio workout without using anything other then your own body weight. As in the other workouts in this program you have two circuits and go through them both twice and there is a warm up and cool down. For me this workout isn't enough for one day so I would have to do another on top of it. However, it is perfect for beginners because it is no where near as intense as Jillian's other cardio DVDs. It is also good if you don't have enough time for a long workout and just want a quick calorie burn. There is a lot of kick boxing moves involved which to me is fun but with punches I cannot get my heart rate up. So if you are like me or just want more of a challenge hold some hand weights to add resistance. I thought this workout was actually fun. So I would recommend this DVD to someone that is either a beginner or hates cardio, like me, to make the time pass quickly.

Shape Up- Backside (25 minutes)
Calories: 179*
This workout targets you Butt, Back, Abs, Hamstrings, & Biceps. By now you should have figured out the pattern that the workout has a warm up, two circuits that you repeat through twice. This DVD is great for any level depending on the weights used and includes a beginner modification. I found this workout difficult with the movements that were cardio with weights together (Example: bicep curls and jumping jacks) because I am kind of spastic. I personally found that the first circuit was more challenging and more enjoyable. Another plus to this workout is so many other DVDs out there seem to only focus on the front of the body. So it is good the have one that targets the back.

Maximize- Back In Action (25 minutes)
Calories: 192*
This workout is for all levels but I would say it is more advance then Shape Up- Backside. It has a beginner modification. It focuses on Butt, Back, Abs, Hamstrings, & Biceps. Workout consists of a warm up, two circuits that you go through twice. I found this workout short and effective. I enjoyed how fast moving it was and would recommend it to anyone. I would suggest a heavy pound weight for your back exercises.
